Training of Consultants (TOC Workshop)

The Training of Consultants is a two-day training session designed to develop Yan-koloba certified trainers. Once a consultant is certified, he/she will be qualified to reap the following benefits:

  1. Assist All World Languages & Cultures, Inc. in providing Yan-koloba training sessions to its clients on a freelance basis.
  2. Schedule and provide his/her own training sessions for pay.
  3. Market and sell Yan-koloba products on a commission basis.

THE TRAINING of CONSULTANTS WILL INCREASE YOUR CLIENTELE BASE if YOU ARE:

An expert, less experienced or aspiring trainer in the field of intercultural communication, character building, teambuilding facilitation or diversity education and training.

By the end of this two-day training, you will:

  • Learn the most fun, innovative, interactive and highly participator activity to boost your training sessions, to diversify your training methodology.
  • Experience a new strategy based on well-researched methodology, to make a lot of people have a lot of fun all time.
  • Discover a fun, simple but unique way to facilitate teambuilding regardless of the size, the cultures, the languages, the ages and the composition of the team, and have your team members work together toward a common goal.
  • Use a new, multicultural, interdisciplinary and creative tool designed to bring all people together regardless of their cultural backgrounds and experiences.
  • Reflect on the importance of games and functional ways of using them in training.
  • Learn how to be part of a NEW growing team of consultants who use an activity to train and be paid both for the training and for the activity.

Is Yan-koloba credible?

YES!

Both the National Endowment for the Humanities(NEH) and the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation valued YAN-KOLOBA so much that they funded the initial research that led to its development.

Research was conducted in Africa and in 174 U.S. organizations (133 educational institutions, 41 corporations) with 11,700 adults and 4,500 students.

The Kansas City Star wrote that in bridging cultures,Dr. Emmanuel Ngomsi has created win-win situations with an African game: YAN-KOLOBA; it is about teamwork and trust.
